"Recording the Flame: Woodfired Pottery" Premired in Iowa City, Iowa September 27th 2002 at the University of Iowa Meseum of Art. Accompanied by a showing of forty woodfired pots from the United States and Japan. The educational value of presenting the work and the indepth video together provides both a rich and intimate understanding of the process, materials and technology, while simoultaniously a tactile representation with a very physical context. The original installation and exhibit was very sucessful and well utilized by students and teachers.
