The faith of Deep Mountain is one, which nurtures diversity in spiritual expression. This faith akin supports and encourages the sharing of spirit, regardless of path providing a concrete expression, a means, an environment and energy for deepening and enriching growth of spirit.

For every unique path, growth and maturation of spirit engenders a desire to share and to nurture an opportunity for growth for others; a sharing of the gift of grace and of compassion and love. Each act of giving, and of nurture, are moments of opening of the heart. Deep Mountain provides an opportunity and a form by which we can share spirit and healing with others. As the Retreat Center grows to enable accommodating more retreatants with better facilities, wider expression and greater comfort, its unique gift of spirit to others becomes more tangible as a presence of silence and prayer.

The intent of sharing spirit at Deep Mountain, hi its eighteenth year, is now deeply rooted and solid. It is the physical facility and staff, however, which enables the manifestation of the intent that needs continuous attention and care and support. Deep Mountain operates only on the generosity and contributions of money and effort of those who share its vision: those who identify themselves as Friends of Deep Mountain; those whose experience at Deep Mountain lead them to concretely foster its growth and those who simply share the value of providing a place for spiritual growth and healing as a gift to others. The Center is frequently surprised at the generosity and caring concern of those who have never even visited Deep Mountain.

Your gift to Deep Mountain helps its effort to provide a place for spirit to mature and deepen. Some of the ways your donation may be used are:

$50 buys a new set of meditation cushions.
$60 buys incense and candles for one year.
$85 pays for one issue of the Newsletter.
$150 provides much needed garden tools.
$200 pays for summer dust-control treatment of the road in front of the Center.
$700 re-grades and drains the eroded steep roads to the deep woods.
$1300 provides materials for expanding guest quarters in the big barn.
$1500 will buy materials for a deep woods stone hermitage.
$1700 pays for a new roof for the caretaker's house.
$1900 will re-roof the main building.
$2000 buys a new solar porch and entryway materials.
$2500 large new sauna materials.
$3500 renovates free-span space for music, movement/body work, and dance.
